MEDIVA Project
AI-powered smart medicine for more agile clinical management
SMART-REHABI promotes connected manufacturing and the personalization of solutions in podiatry and sports through the intelligent processing of biomechanical data. The project is based on the development of a digital twin of a biomechanics laboratory, supported by inertial sensors (IMUs), artificial intelligence and cloud computing.
From this approach, personalized rehabilitation exercises can be recommended for patients and soccer players, professionals and amateurs, optimizing the manufacturing, prescription and customization processes of orthopedic products.
Additionally, SMART-REHABI will integrate biomechanical and genetic analysis to offer innovative health solutions in podiatry and high-performance environments. The project, which has Origen in the most technological part, is led by Podoactiva and has the participation of Real Madrid Next to validate and test the solutions developed. The collaboration between the participants is coordinated by Arahealth and GSIC (Global Sports Innovation Center), both recognized as Innovative Business Groups by the Ministry of Industry and Tourism.
Participating entities: Podoactiva | Arahealth | Origin Genetics | Real Madrid Next | Global Sports Innovation Center (GSIC)
Financing: Ministry of Industry and Tourism
